you're here because you care About more than just photos
The nervous energy as you held the vows you rewrote a dozen times. Your partner's smile mid-ceremony—the kind that says, "I've got you."
...while you were getting ready, while you snuck away for 5 minutes of quiet, just the two of you, so you could soak it all in (or fool around—no judgements here).
Because deep down, you know these photos aren’t just for you. They’re for your future family, however that looks—the ones who’ll look back and see where it all began.
Hey, I'm Gen
I live for creating art that holds weight and actually means something, because not long ago, I felt like I’d lost that meaning myself.
I don't take this work lightly—being let in, seeing things as they are, telling the truth in a way that lasts. It's about slowing down long enough to see what’s right in front of you. And making sure you have something honest and artful to carry with you when it’s gone.
Because the photos aren’t the point. What they hold is.
For the big moments—
and all the quiet ones too
Intimate, intentional, and
wildly true to you
Honouring the
season you’re in
What sets Gen apart is her eye, but also the way she creates an environment where you can truly be yourself. We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with a photographer who understood our vision and helped us create lasting memories that we’ll cherish forever.
"From the moment we reached out, Gen made us feel so at ease."
The photos are so beautiful, and are exactly what I knew you would create. You’re so gifted at what you do, and I love how seriously you take your job. Seriously and not seriously. Focused and relaxed. It’s a really beautiful duality. You saw us. Truly and with resonant authenticity. And we will forever feel so much gratitude.
"You captured the feeling of this day so perfectly!"
It’s never been about the “perfect” photo for me. It’s about the way the room shifted when the people who love you most showed up and didn’t hold back. It’s your kid sneaking in that surprise kiss on your cheek after a day that nearly took you out. It’s the quiet, the chaos, the in-between breath before everything changes again.
That’s what I’m drawn to—the moments you can still feel long after they’re over. The ones that stick. The ones you’ll come back to.
These are the stories I get to witness. And this is how I tell them.
